Hi, I am DJ Vusal (Vusal I. Mousayev). This is my new musical web site containing the songs from my "West & East", "Faces of Love" albums and composed, arranged, remixed or remade songs, vocalized by azeri artists (NEW!!!).
Something from my life...
I was born on December 4, 1973 in Baku,
Azerbaijan Republic (C.I.S), got married in 1997, have two sons. I graduated
from Azerbaijan State Economic University in 1995 with diploma of excellence.
My main speciality is "accounting, analysis and audit in industry"
however I always worked as a programmer. I started to learn programming in
1990, my first year at the university. It was my crazy dream... I spent days
and nights in front of computers and finally to become quite well known programmer
in Baku. In 1996 I found fasttracker II and started my composing career. It
was one of the happiest days in my life... Till present days I composed over
90 songs and finally in the very beginning of year 2000 we selected 16 soundtracks
for my "West & East" album. This album
was released in summer 2001 by "East Music" company. The album is
available in the shops of "Sabuhi" recording studio (Baku, Azerbaijan) and
some other music stores of our city. Now the radio stations of Baku such as
101FM and 106FM broadcast some tracks from this album. I started working on
my second "Faces of Love" album in december
2000 and now it's almost finished. Now we are at the final stage of studio
works, so I hope to release it till the end of the year 2002. Both albums
were made using ModPlug Tracker with VST
plugins support as a sequencer and Vegas
Audio, SoundForge with DirectX plugins as mastering tools. No live or
electronic instruments were used. Everything was done in Tracker itself using
samples and step-mode editing. I am an amateur guitar and electronic music
keyboard player and no more... The mastering is an area of my friend Roman
Mamedov. The design is mine. Now I work at the recording studio of 
"MIR"
International TV company. Me and my friends Roman and Ismail have rented
that studio for audio works. I arrange and compose songs, Roman does all sound
editing works, Ismail also composes and writes lyrics. So we are very friendly
and successful enough group of creative guys ;)
My major interests:
Cybernethics (I also collaborate with my father, Isa
K. Mousayev - founder of a new scientific stream - "Associology".
This is the product of wonderful mixture of the Cybernethics, Synergethics
and Systemology applied in all scientific fields), Esoterics, Magic, Ufology,
Alternative Science at all, Programming, Engineering, Astronomy, Space, Physics,
Biology, Psycology, Music, Martial Arts (Aikido), Break Dance.
How do I compose?
Sure I don't pretend to be called a professional composer. Everything I did keeps the sign of amateur... but I try to go forward, approaching all results critically. The world of dreams is my main source of creativity... I fell in love with space, universe, beauty of nature - my oceans of imagination. Every single piece of sand, every drop in the ocean, the universe itself with billions of stars and galaxies full of crazy energy and light have their own music and beauty... The only thing you need is to be able to see it... I just tried to express my view of this wonderful environment...
